Colorado State Patrol and Craig Fire/Rescue personnel work to free occupants in two cars that were involved in a head-on accident Saturday on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 97. Both drivers sustained “serious but non-life threatening injuries,” according to a news release from the State Patrol. One of the drivers has been released from The Memorial Hospital. The second remained at TMH as of Sunday afternoon, but was listed in fair condition.

Drivers transported to TMH in Craig for treatment
Two vehicles collided at about 3:33 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 40, about four miles east of Craig. The drivers of the two vehicles were transported to The Memorial Hospital in Craig with “serious but non-life threatening injuries,” according to a news release from the Colorado State Patrol.
