Rocky Wisecup found some open air Saturday at the Hayden Speedway in the Limited Late Model class. With the last race of the season scheduled for Sept. 19, Wisecup is in the running for the Limited Late Model Driver of the Year award.

The Craig Rotary Club placed about 125 American flags along Victory Way and Yampa Avenue on Monday to commemorate Labor Day. Rotary places the flags out at least eight times a year for major flag holidays and others to "demonstrate to others our love of country," Rotary Club president Cole White said.
