Rita Updike, 47, with her daughter Ariah, 17, was reunited with her birth mother, Abelina Montoya, 69, after her birth certificate was made public by the state of Colorado. Rita Updike, who was adopted, went to Denver to apply for her birth certificate June 29 and received information that led her to reunite with her birth family two weeks later.
Daniel Wilkinson performs general maintenance on a car at Chapman Automotive. The center performs different types of service on cars and trucks including diesel, gas, sales, service, tires, trailers, wiring and "a lot of repairs," owner J.B. Chapman said.
Jaime Sandoval cleans windows, which is something Chapman's does for customers. Owner J.B. Chapman said, "Everyone that starts here has to learn to take care of the customers."
