Moffat County High School senior Jasen Kettle looks to get past visiting Battle Mountain High School defenders Friday night at the high school. Kettle rushed for 207 yards on 10 carries with two touchdowns in the first half, powering a mostly unstoppable ground game for MCHS in the Western Slope League win.

Mason Updike, a Moffat County High School sophomore, didn't expect to get too many carries in the varsity football team's game Friday against Battle Mountain High School. However, when his coaches called his number, he was ready - delivering 144 yards on 21 carries, good for two touchdowns.
