The Moffat County High School girls cross-country team will try to continue its success from the regular season when it races at the state cross-country meet Saturday in Fort Collins. The team is from left, Rose Howe, Kelly Ciesco, Eryn Leonard, Maddy Jourgensen, Nike Cleverly, Sassy Murray, Bailey Hellander and Jaycee McCoy.

Paula, who is the coordinator for the Moffat County Youth Leadership Team, helped organize the event. Behind, volunteer J.D. Merriam hands a green light bulb to a passing motorist. Organizers hope residents put the green lights up at their homes and businesses to raise awareness about homeless youth.
