Hayden High School valedictorian Lissa Hoza looks to the future after her father, School Board President Brian Hoza, gives her a diploma and a hug. Lissa Hoza was one of 32 Tigers to graduate Sunday in Hayden.

Erin Urbanoski is congratulated as she receives her third-place medal Saturday in the girls 100-meter dash. Urbanoski, a senior, won her third consecutive state title in the long jump Friday night.

Moffat County High School sophomore Luke Myers brands a picnic table Friday at the Moffat County FFA chapter's annual Oyster Fry and Project Sale at the high school. FFA students sold space on the table to raise money for the program. The table will be on display at the Moffat County Fairgrounds.

Jarred Blevins rides along Western Avenue early Saturday morning before heading off with friends Braden Peterson and Brent Juergens on the 23rd annual Where the Hell's Maybell bike ride and breakfast. Riders were challenged with the 30-mile trek with starting points at either Northwest Storage or Western Knolls.

Warren Fread salutes during the presenting of the colors Saturday during the sixth annual Hometown Heroes community picnic at the south end of Craig City Park. The event is a tribute to the men and women of the armed services. Fread is a 20-year Navy veteran and served from 1948 to 1968. More than 200 people attended the event, sponsored by the Craig Daily Press and McDonald's.
