Moffat County pitcher Erick Leonard, pictured above as a sophomore, took the mound for the Bulldogs on Saturday in Olathe. The Bulldogs lost to Carbon County (Utah), 17-0, finishing their season-opening road trip 0-3.
A dinosaur statue greets a passing car on a quiet Saturday afternoon at the center of Dinosaur. Originally named Artesia, residents renamed the town in 1965.
Museum Director Dan Davidson points to a mural inside the Museum of Northwest Colorado depicting Craig in 1895. The museum will open an exhibit May 24 featuring paintings from Craig and Moffat County.
