Riders stopped to take in the view northwest of Steamboat Springs. The view was from atop a cliff more than 1,000 feet high.
A group of 17 snowmobilers made the 60-mile trip with members of Northwest Colorado Snowmobile Club with a stop at the base of Pilot's Knob, shown above, north of Hayden.

Elkhorn Winter Adventures supplied the snowmobiles, helmets and tour, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265 supplied lunch for the veterans.
Members of the Northwest Colorado Snowmobile Club travel along a groomed trail last month one mile from Elkhead Ranch, northeast of Craig. Club members were out with two veterans and their families for the Soldier's Ride, a snowmobile ride to thank present and past veterans.
