Youths fish May 30 during the Division of Wildlife-sponsored youth Cast and Blast at Axial Basin. Thirty youths learned fishing and hunting techniques, and the DOW encouraged the youths to continue the hobbies in their lives.

The Moffat County Education Association has reached an agreement with the School Board regarding proposed increases to teacher salaries and benefits. MCEA has ratified the proposal, while the School Board has yet to approve it through a vote.
