Dalton Reed looks through the tools in his shop. He said he's been restoring cars for about as long as he's been able to use the tools, and he owns a car made in every decade from the 1910s to the 1990s.
Dalton Reed stands next to the wood-fortified front bumper of a 1918 Liberty truck, used in World War I to haul troops and supplies. Reed has been restoring it for the past nine months for the Wyman Living History Museum, in anticipation of a historical military vehicle show June 28 in Rawlins, Wyo.
The armory was finished in 1922 and became the most used building in town. This photo was taken by George Welch in 1925.
