Austin Sadvar, of Moffat County's American Legion team, rushes to third Saturday after hitting a triple against visiting Steamboat Springs. Moffat County swept the doubleheader with final scores of 10-0 and 17-4.
Ben Williams slides into third base Saturday during the Moffat County American Legion baseball team's game against visiting Steamboat Springs. Williams pitched six scoreless innings and picked up the win in the first game of a doubleheader.
An open house to recognize Moffat County School District Superintendent Pete Bergmann, pictured above, takes place from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the American Legion Post 62, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. The event is open to the public.
Taylor Evering, 12, won $50 during intermission at the Moffat County Mud Runs. Children 12 and younger raced through the mud for the chance at winning a prize.
