Austin Sadvar, of Moffat County's American Legion team, rushes to third Saturday after hitting a triple against visiting Steamboat Springs. Moffat County swept the doubleheader with final scores of 10-0 and 17-4.
Ben Williams slides into third base Saturday during the Moffat County American Legion baseball team's game against visiting Steamboat Springs. Williams pitched six scoreless innings and picked up the win in the first game of a doubleheader.
An open house to recognize Moffat County School District Superintendent Pete Bergmann, pictured above, takes place from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the American Legion Post 62, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. The event is open to the public.
Children were treated to a candy dash during intermission Saturday at the Mud Runs.

Driver Gary Rule and Chase Baker plow their modified 1988 Chevy S10 into the mud Saturday at the Wyman Museum. The pair was competing in the Moffat County Mud Runs, which challenged trucks from six classes to try to make it across boggy tracks.
