Richard Wildenhaus is the new athletic director at Moffat County High School, replacing interim athletic director Matt Ray. Wildenhaus, from Las Vegas, is in the process of moving to Craig and said he hopes to continue the school's academic and athletic traditions.
The Moffat County Little Britches Rodeo begins at noon today at Moffat County Fairgrounds. The rodeo ends Sunday.
This 1976 Cadillac Eldorado is being raffled off as a fundraiser for the Craig Beautification Committee. The car features a V-8 500-ci engine and new transmission, radiator, top and interior. Prices for raffle tickets are $60 for one or $100 for two, and 300 tickets will be sold for the car. Tickets will be on sale until November 27 or until sold out. Tickets are available at the Craig Chamber of Commerce, OP Bar & Grill or call 620-1425. All proceeds will be used in Craig to clean and beautify our town.
A group of more than 20 seniors made their way down the Yampa River on Wednesday as part of a Craig Parks and Recreation program. The seniors piled into five boats and launched from Pebble Beach, floating along the river before landing at Loudy-Simpson Park to have lunch.
