Mark Oxley takes a shot on goal Tuesday night during a Craig Red Dogs hockey practice in preparation for the 15th annual Yampa Valley Invitational this weekend at Moffat County Ice Arena. Ten teams will hit the ice to battle it out, with the first game beginning at 5:45 p.m. Friday and the championship game held at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Craig residents participate in senior swimnastics at the American Legion Post No. 62 pool. The class takes place three times a week for residents 50 and older.
Eveline Bacon, Integrated Community Intercultural English as a Second Language program manager, teaches the free English and Spanish learning club, Intercambio, on Tuesday night at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig. Integrated Community is scheduled to begin its second semester of English as a Second Language classes this month for beginning, intermediate and advanced learners.
