The Craig Concert Association is scheduled to host its annual talent show at 7 p.m. Saturday inside the auditorium at Moffat County High School. Irene Losolla sings "When You Lie Next To Me" by Kellie Coffey during the 2007 talent show auditions.
All of this year's talent show acts are musical performances. Musical genres on display include rock, blues, jazz and classical. Sonja Gumba, of Craig, sings an original song titled "Come Back" as part of the 2008 talent show auditions.
Students who plan to participate in the Moffat County Work and Life Skills program must turn in their registration applications today to the Moffat County High School counseling office.
The eight bronze statues are on display in the lobby of Yampa Valley Bank, 435 Mack Lane. The statues sit on a diorama recreating the proposed location of the Colorado Wild Horse Monument Park & Interpretive Center.
Ray Magness, of Craig, looks Tuesday at the unveiled scaled-down version of the proposed Colorado Wild Horse Monument Park & Interpretive Center at Yampa Valley Bank. The model is a miniature of the life-size versions of horses created by Hayden artist Curtis Zabel.
Sherry Sampson, a Moffat County Libraries employee since 1993, has risen through the ranks the past 15 years to her current position, libraries director. The library board unanimously appointed her last month. She supervises 22 employees and manages three total branches - Craig, Maybell and Dinosaur.
