The meeting was part of a tour designed to introduce Bennet to the state. Bennet has been named by Gov. Bill Ritter (shown in the background) to replace Ken Salazar in the U.S. Senate. Salazar is expected to take the position of secretary of the interior in President-elect Barack Obama's Cabinet.
The Bulldogs celebrate their second-place team finish Sunday in Nevada. Moffat County eclipsed last year's fourth-place showing, as four Bulldogs grapplers won individual titles.
Moffat County sophomore Cody Nelson tangles with an opponent during the Las Vegas Invitational wrestling tournament. Nelson went undefeated (8-0) in the two-day event, winning the 103-pound title.
