Jesse McAvoy, owner of Bad Axe Custom Cycles in Craig, will have his hair cut off and donated to Locks of Love. McAvoy is getting the haircut to play a role in an independent film in Boulder.

Moffat County High School junior Patience Terry watches fellow cheerleaders practice Wednesday at the high school. The team began practicing Monday and is preparing for the Sept. 4 varsity football game against Berthoud High School at home.
