A woman watches protesters gather in front of the Moffat County Courthouse shortly before noon Wednesday, when the rally officially began. Protesters started arriving about 11:30 a.m., and many stayed after the scheduled 1 p.m. finish time. A rough count of the number of people attending showed about 221 residents had gathered on Victory Way by about 12:15 p.m.
