Moffat County High School senior Alicia Nelson broke a school record in the 1,600-meter race with her 5 minute, 8 second finish Saturday at the Runner's Roost Invite at Mullen High School in Denver. With that time, Nelson is ranked third in Class 4A.

Municipal Court Judge Kevin Peck has been serving Craig for more than eight years. Peck handles traffic, misdemeanors and other minor and petty offenses. On Tuesday, he swore in a new batch of elected city officials.
