Moffat County High School's Mark Dockstader watches his drive on the 14th hole at the Yampa Valley Golf Course on Thursday. Dockstader finished the day with an 82, which was good enough for 13th place in the 20-team tournament.
Drake Moe plays with pieces used for a sheepdog trial course game Thursday in Michelle Georgiou's class at East Elementary School. The game illustrates the path the dogs will take to direct the sheep.
Craig residents participate in senior swimnastics at the American Legion Post No. 62 pool. The class takes place three times a week for residents ages 50 and older.
Tatiana Achcar, who hails from South America, recently accepted the executive directorship of Integrated Community, a multicultural organization that operates in Craig and Steamboat Springs. Before coming to Yampa Valley, she founded and owned Achcar Law, an immigration law firm in Minnesota. Achcar was the firm's sole practitioner.
Katelynn Baker works on a sheepdog trial course game Thursday with fellow second-graders in Ms. Georgiou's class at East Elementary.
