Dan Davidson, Museum of Northwest Colorado director, points to a sculpture of a panther, being featured in an upcoming exhibit. The work, titled "Stalking Panther," was sculpted in 1893 by Alexander Phimister Proctor, a nationally recognized artist whose art school education was funded by Craig's namesake, William Bayard Craig.
An interactive white board sits in Cheryl Arnett's second-grade classroom at Sunset Elementary School. The touch-screen board uses a projector and is connected to a computer.
Moffat County High School senior Jessica Hogue earned a score equivalent to a 1380 on the Scholastic Aptitude Test, which equals a score of 31 on the American College Testing assessment last year. The score made her a runner-up for the National Merit Scholarship, which is awarded only to high school juniors.
