Colorado Northwestern Community College nursing students were pinned Monday to commemorate their status as new Licensed Practical Nurses. Students completed an optional summer class and passed the National Exam for Practical Nurses to earn their licensure. The prospect of winning big money at little risk appeals to numerous convenience store customers in the area. Scratch tickets ,like the one shown here, can range in price from $1 to $20 at the Loaf 'N Jug in Craig. On average, the store sells between 650 and 700 scratch tickets daily.
