The Craig House of Horror will be open Thursday and Friday evenings this week. No-scare hours are from 6 to 7 p.m., and regular hours are from 7 to 10 p.m. Admission is $5 during no-scare hours, and $5 for students and $7 for adults during regular hours.
Bob Schaffer, Republican U.S. Senate candidate, speaks with local residents Wednesday at Serendipity Coffee Shop. Schaffer spoke to a largely supportive crowd and garnered a spontaneous campaign contribution while answering questions.
State officials concede Colorado Highway 13 needs repairs up and down. However, the Colorado Department of Transportation does not have the funding to address the problems now, and may not have it for years if extra dollars are not appropriated for transportation, officials said.
