Moffat County High School freshman Jordan Porter recently was named to the National Cheerleading Association's High School All-American cheerleading team. As a member of the team, Porter is traveling to Hawaii to participate Thanksgiving Day in the Washington State/Hawaii college football game.

Forgay and four other local veterans were scheduled to read their favorite childhood stories to children during the Veterans Day-themed story time. Forgay chose to read Silverstein's "The Giving Tree."
