Jeanine Vallejos leads a tour of Craig Middle School eighth-grade boys through Trapper Mine on April 24 during a career day event. Students began the day with Colorado Northwestern Community College instructors in power plant technology, automotive technology and industrial electricity, as well as presentations from the police and fire departments. Later, students made on-site visits to Trapper Mine and the Hayden power plant. Craig Kiwanis provided all the food and supplies for a barbecue.
