Jerry Schaeffer plays with the band Steal'n at the Moffat County Fairgrounds pavilion in August during a class reunion. Schaeffer will be in town Friday and Saturday with the band The Goodman Band, which is scheduled to play at the Craig Holiday Inn.
Heather Burchall was the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association community health educator and Moffat County Youth Wellness Initiative coordinator. She stepped down from both positions last month.
Ridgeview Elementary student Jordan Goodwin looks at army men on display Wednesday at the Wyman Museum. Ridgeview Elementary students were at the museum as part of the Newspapers in Education program, a partnership between local schools and the Craig Daily Press to help students develop writing skills by teaching them to report about the field trips they take. Stories from the Wyman trip are scheduled to publish April 4.

From abandoned to seized, the Craig Police Department has picked up and sold about 150 vehicles in the past four years as part of the city's code enforcement. The department currently has four impounded vehicles up for closed-bid auction.
