Communities Overcoming Meth Abuse, an organization created five years ago to address the local “meth epidemic” is hosting a public meeting Thursday to re-evaluate group goals and direction for the next three years.
Yampa Valley Electric Association hosted its annual meeting Saturday inside the auditorium at Moffat County High School. Larry Covillo, YVEA president and general manager, encouraged state constituents to contact senators and representatives about three facets of electrical energy resources: affordability, availability and reliability.

Participants in the Yampa Valley Golf Course men’s doubles tournament await the opening horn Saturday. The women’s doubles tournament was played Tuesday and Wednesday.
