The Moffat County Bulldogs legion baseball team, shown here playing at home versus Steamboat Springs, was swept from the state championships Friday after a 17-4 loss to Valley LaSalle. The Bulldogs finished the season 18-4 overall, winning the Colorado American Legion Baseball Mountain Division, but the team lost its first two tournament games against teams from the Front Range.

Three Dog Night performs for a crowd of more than 2,500 area residents during Craig’s Centennial Celebration on July 12 at Moffat County Fairgrounds. Colorado band Firefall opened for Three Dog Night. The performances were followed by a fireworks show.
