Hulstine placed second Sunday in the 200-meter breaststroke during the Western Slope Championships in Grand Junction, qualifying for this weekend’s Junior Olympics in Colorado Springs.
Ron Kessler, 39, of Fort Collins, contemplates the road ahead that he will walk as part of his fundraising effort for breast cancer awareness. Beginning March 1, Kessler’s walk has included more than 2,400 miles as he makes his way to the final destination of Port Reyes, Calif.

The Moffat County Visitor Center, which sits at the corner of Victory Way and Washington Street, has been home to the Chamber of Commerce for a number of years. Plans are under way to expand the building and bring the Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership and Moffat County Tourism Association into the fold, as well.
