Kinlie Brennise has traveled more than 5,000 miles during her tenure as National Little Britches Rodeo Association Little Wrangler Rodeo Princess. The 7-year-old, who earned her crown as a 6-year-old, beat four other competitors to win her crown last August.
One of the new fields at Dry Creek Park in Hayden will be named after Don Morgan this weekend. He shows off the first foul ball he ever caught as a spectator at a baseball game. Morgan keeps it on top of his TV in his room at the Haven Assisted Living Facility in Hayden.
Members of the Northwest Colorado Chapter of Parrot Heads give a Parrot Head salute with the estimated 500 pounds of trash they picked up Tuesday at Pebble Beach. The group went on to collect trash in the Loudy-Simpson area, as well.
Craig resident Debra Lueck sits with some of the items she brought back from earlier trips to Africa. Lueck is earning her associate degree in graphic design from Westwood College Online and is scheduled to graduate in December. She plans on using the degree to design promotional materials for nongovernment organizations in Zambia.
Elizabeth Oldham, current assistant district attorney for the 14th Judicial District and the Republican candidate for district attorney, answers a question from Bob Johnson at Tuesday morning’s Craig Rotary Club meeting. Oldham answered questions from Rotary members ranging from illegal immigration policy to public perceptions of the District Attorney’s Office.
