Oak Creek’s Tom Thurston, seen here during his third-place run in the 350-mile 2007 Race to the Sky, earned his first career victory Sunday. He beat out an elite field of sled dog racers to win Montana’s Seeley Lake 200, as well as taking home the race’s sportsmanship award.
