San Polo Beach’s Oscar Ramos, of Craig, shoots to score against El Espanol on Saturday at Craig Middle School. San Polo Beach won the game, 7-1. Eight teams traveled to compete in the annual tournament hosted by Craig Youth Soccer. Funds raised are used as scholarships given to local youths.

The performance was sponsored by the Craig Concert Association. The next Concert Association performance is by Michel Lauziere, Master of the Unusual, on March 16.
An all-leather saddle, complete with alligator skin seat, is what Fleming will be using from now on. The 17-year-old won his first championship saddle after two years as a runner-up.
Craig’s Eric Fleming is congratulated Sunday after his first-place ride in the National Little Britches Rodeo Association’s bareback event held in Rifle. Fleming earned “Saddle Champ” honors as all-around senior boy rodeo champion.
Darcy Trask, a 22-year resident of Steamboat Springs and a married mother of two boys, is the new executive specialist for Craig/Moffat Economic Development. She plans to start this week.
