The Moffat County High School girls basketball team’s playoff seeding was up in the air Sunday, as the Bulldogs finished tied for first-place in the Western Slope League with Glenwood Springs. After a coin-toss, Moffat County is the No. 2 seed in the Lou Piel Region earning a bye in Wednesday’s playoff opener. The Bulldogs will host the winner of Berthoud vs. Niwot on Saturday. The boys clinched the fourth-spot in the Western Slope League after Friday’s win against Eagle Valley but had to wait for a committee decision on its playoff fate. Moffat County was awarded the No. 9 seed in the Bill Weimer Region. Moffat County travels Tuesday to face No. 8 seed Greeley Central in first-round action, with the winner to travel Friday to face No. 1 seed Cherokee Trail.
