Ken Moncrief, the new supervisor of motor grader operators at Moffat County Road Department, is a state champion at running the heavy machines. He won first place in the Colorado Department of Transportation's State Roadeo held in September in Colorado Springs.

The Kiwanis Club of Craig donates $800 Wednesday to the KRAI 55 Holiday Drive. Kiwanis Club member Bryce Jacobson, left, presented the check to KRAI owner and general manager Frank Hanel and challenged the Rotary and Lions clubs to match the donation. Also pictured are a holiday drive volunteer and Santa Claus. The Holiday Drive continues today at the west entrance to Centennial Mall and wraps up at 6 p.m. Many businesses, individuals, families and civic groups have contributed money, toys, bicycles and more at the drive.
