McClelland and colleague Mike Doerge were preparing for a departure today. Spectrum Jet Center could be replaced by Galaxy Aviation of Steamboat-Hayden, county officials said Monday.
Drivers in the Street Stock class line up before their first heat Saturday at Hayden Speedway. Drivers have two races left to earn points toward driver-of-the-year and rookie-of-the-year season-ending awards.
Rick Hill, owner and developer with Mars Development, said he expects the Candlewood Suites at First Street and Colorado Highway 13 to open by early- to mid-November. Hill said he is encouraged about Craig's economic future, despite the lack of recent visible growth.
