Shelby Haughey, Moffat County High School sophomore, stoops to collect a piece of trash Tuesday afternoon on East Victory Way. Haughey and other high school science students picked up waste around Craig in honor of Earth Day, an annual event promoting environmental awareness.

Participants of the Brothers of the Brush contest line up for a group photo Monday night in the basement of the Museum of Northwest Colorado. More than 40 men grew their beards for 100 days without shaving as part of the contest, which was done in honor of the Craig Centennial celebration. Before and after photos, taken by Beth Gilchrist, were donated by Craig Centennial Committee.
