Maureen and Dan Hebard, owners of Alpine Electronics in downtown Steamboat Springs, will shut their doors for the final time this Saturday evening. The store has operated in downtown since 1989.
The junior varsity team is all smiles Wednesday. The JV squad is the next wave of Bulldogs girls basketball players to hit the hardwood for Moffat County.

Debbie Rudd, Yampa Valley Pregnancy Center director, sits with a notebook and one of the pens she bought hours after the Country Mall fire that destroyed the center's office. She bought the notebook because she knew she would need to record a lot of phone numbers and the pens - which feature pictures of Winnie the Pooh - because she knew she would need a smile, she said.
