As evidenced by their team apparel, the Pleasant home will be a house divided for this year’s World Series. Hometown allegiance has Val Pleasant, a Boston-area native, rooting for the Red Sox, while husband, Jeff, and sons Cody and Luke cheer for the Rockies. Game 1 of the World Series starts at 6:35 p.m., when the Rockies visit the Red Sox.
Val and Luke Pleasant watch for the Rockies update Tuesday afternoon at their home in Craig. Val and Luke had been trying most of the day to get tickets to the World Series in which both of their favorite teams will go head to head this weekend in Denver.
Kayla Ford takes a shot over the out-stretched arms of the defense in practice Tuesday at Sunset Elementary School. Ford wants to make it to the WNBA.
