Third-grader Reilley Gumber of Sunset Elementary School takes notes Monday while Dan Davidson, director of the Museum of Northwest Colorado, gives a presentation on the history of Craig using a painting of what Craig looked like in 1895. More than 20 other first- through fourth-graders joined Reilley and Davidson as part of the Newspapers in Education program, which entails students from Sunset, East and Ridgeview elementary schools, and Craig Intermediate School reporting on presentations. This year's NIE theme is the history of Craig.
