Fireworks light up the sky over Moffat County High School and Craig on Wednesday night in celebration of Independence Day. Craig Fire/Rescue presented the show, which included more than 1,000 shells.

Blaine Tucker with Mountain Air Spray Company sprayed for mosquitoes over Craig and Moffat County last week as part of the program to prevent the spread of West Nile Virus. No infected mosquitoes have been found in the county this year.
The cool water of the Yampa River was the place to find Adrian Egan on the Fourth of July. Egan and his dog took a refreshing dip before settling in for an afternoon barbecue and evening fireworks.
