Craig resident Casey McMillen displays the skills needed in his line of work. As a professional cowboy, McMillen has earned more than $80,000 this season. He will look to more than double that payoff throughout the week in the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. The finals air on ESPN2 all week.
Eowyn Phelps, 2, looks at one of the nativity scenes on display Thursday evening at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The community annual display is open to the public from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The four dressed up and performed a cheer, each for $1,000 that was donated to the drive. The two-day holiday drive earned an event record $29,312.70 in donations, as well as stock piling toys and food for various groups. Last year, the holiday drive earned $25,000, which was the record.
