Randon Nakai, a 28-year-old Utah man, was sentenced to jail for drug use and resisting arrest. He is scheduled to be released Jan. 6, a date that didn’t allow him to reunite with his fiancé and 7-year-old son in time for Christmas. Nakai said he accepts the blame for bad choices he’s made in the past.
Sharyn Sanborn, a 46-year-old Craig woman, is being held at the Moffat County Jail on 10 drug-related charges. Life in jail can be more difficult during the holidays when inmates are away from their loved ones.
