Randon Nakai, a 28-year-old Utah man, was sentenced to jail for drug use and resisting arrest. He is scheduled to be released Jan. 6, a date that didn’t allow him to reunite with his fiancé and 7-year-old son in time for Christmas. Nakai said he accepts the blame for bad choices he’s made in the past.
