Ivy Davis and the rest of the High on Harmony singers opened the last Craig Concert Association's Local Talent Concert competition. Auditions for the next show are Sept. 8.

Earlier this year, Butler planted a pair of Colorado blue spruce trees at the museum in memory of her father, Conn Olds. The trees were marked with a commemorative plaque Wednesday afternoon.
Lin McCaughan of Craig plays the harmonica as part of the entertainment for Thursday's farmers market at Alice Pleasant Park. The market is sponsored by the Downtown Business Association, and will continue Thursdays as long as weather permits.
Moffat County motor grader operator Ken Moncrief recently competed with David Moore, Dave Brookshire, Rob Wells and Richard McFeaters at the heavy equipment rodeo in Rifle. Grader operators put one of the toughest machines to operate through a series of obstacles each year for bragging rights in their county.
