Blayze Wayne Vernon
October 5, 2016
Blayze Wayne Vernon passed away peacefully in the arms of his parents at 7:24 a.m. on the morning of September 24, 2016. Blayze was six days old and was born in Meridian, Idaho at 4:59 a.m. on September 18, 2016. He was the second son of Hailee Renee and Troy Samuel Vernon. In Blayze's short, precious life, he touched the lives of many doctors, nurses and hospital staff in three different hospitals as well as transport and flight crewmembers in between. He also melted the hearts of numerous extended family members in Homedale, Idaho and Maybell, Colorado. He was a much anticipated and well-loved baby long before his arrival.
Blayze was preceded in death by his maternal great-great-grandparents Harold and Irene Markley and Lenora (Nana) Garrett and paternal great-great-grandparents Samuel and Violet Steele and Horace and Vergie Behrman. We are so comforted to know that they are all cuddling him with heavenly love. Blayze was also preceded in death by his mom's special horse, so he will be riding "Peanut," a beautiful paint horse in heaven.
Blayze is survived by his parents, Hailee Renee (Garrett) Vernon and Troy Samuel Vernon as well as his big brother Payson Layne Vernon, his grandparents Gregg and Randee Garrett and Bob and Janice Edwards as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and great-grandparents.
"If love alone could have kept you here, you would have lived forever."
A viewing will be held at the Homedale Friends Church (17434 US-95, Wilder, ID, 83676) on Friday, Oct. 7th, 2016 from 12:30 – 2:00 PM.
