David Winograsky

December 30, 1951 – April 7, 2015

Longtime Routt and Moffat County resident, David Joe Winograsky, passed away April 7th, 2015, peacefully at his home with family. He was 63.
Dave was born December 30, 1951 to Jane and Albert Winograsky. He grew up with his two brothers, Larry and John in Milner, CO. He went on to graduate high school in Hayden, CO and married his first wife, Dorothy (Ehle) in 1972. In 1976 he was blessed with his first child, Karie, followed by his son, David Jr., in 1980.
A man of many talents, he was an incredible craftsman, woodworker, gunsmith and guitarist with a beautiful voice. During his career as a “Sparky”, Dave became a master electrician, running two successful businesses in Steamboat and Craig.
In 2000, Dave got a second chance at love, meeting and marrying, Patsy (Murphy), who’s loving union led to great happiness and many amazing adventures together. This joyous family expansion brought with it Pat’s son Ryan (wife Rachel) and in 2005, 2 beautiful granddaughters, Alexa and Madeline.
Dave was a kind, humble and loving man, who touched the lives of countless numbers of people. He was a loyal and dedicated servant of Jehovah God. Dave’s belief in an eternal Paradise and unwavering faith sustained him through his last days.
This amazing man will be incredibly missed by his family and an untold number of friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm, April 18th, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, followed by a reception at the Bud Werner Library.
