Donald Dean Taylor

Donald Dean Taylor Son of Harold Taylor and La Vaughn Taylor was born April 9th 1935 in Craig Colorado and passed away on Sept 14th 2013 at Hospice in Grand Junction Colorado. He was one of 5 children born. Brothers are Bill Taylor, Clarence Taylor, Chuck Taylor and one Sister Darlene Taylor
Don grew up on the family ranch then after high school he joined the Army for 2 Years. After being discharged he met Mae Earle and married Nov.8th 1958 with the union 3 children were born, Judy, Randy and Dwayne.
Don worked for Craig Tire Mileage for 18 years then worked for the City of Craig then later retired and move to Vernal Utah and finally to Grand Junction
Mae Died in Nov 2000 then met Jen Lichtenhahn in 2001 and married her in Feb 2002 in Craig and resided in Craig for a few years and then moved to Vernal Utah were they resided for a few years then moved to Grand Junction. Jen has 4 children Bud, Dan, Jean, Josie
Don enjoyed going for drives, camping, fishing, spend¬ing time with his family and the family ranch. He was a bee keeper for many years and cutting lawns as a side job. He was a strong Jehovah's Witness and enjoyed preaching the good news.
Survived by His wife Jen Taylor, Judy Simpson (Jody), Randy Taylor (Cathy), Dwayne Taylor (Diann), Bud Lichtenhahn (Lisa), Dan Lichtenhahn (Cindy), Jean, Josie. Also Survived by Brothers Clarence Taylor (Donna), Chuck Taylor (Lacy). Between the two of them there are numerous grand children, nephews and nieces
Preceded in death were Harold Taylor, La Vaughn Taylor, Darlene Taylor, Mae Taylor, Bill Taylor.
Memorial Services will be at Clifton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 3303 E 3/4 Rd. Clifton Colorado Sunday September 22, 2013 at 4:00 PM. Interment at Family Ranch In Hamilton Colorado.
