Lenord Everett Osborn

Lenord Everett Osborn, 71, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Willowwood Memory Care in Eveleth, Minn.

Lenord was born Feb. 18, 1941, in Salida to Roy Everett and Eva (Waggoner) Osborn. He grew up and attended schools in Virginia, Minn.

In his early adult years Lenord enjoyed spending summers on a ranch near Hamilton with his father. He was known for his interest in farm animals.

Lenord is survived by two sisters, Lynda (Bruce) Osborn-Frederick, of Park Falls, Wis., and Carolyn (Cecil) Osborn-Garrett, of Woodland, Wash.; two nieces, Kerri Frederick, of Alameda, Calif., and Christine Heath, of Wasilla, Alaska; two nephews, Shane Frederick, of New Haven, Conn., and Clay Anderson, of Palmer, Alaska; six great nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.
