Brenda Knob, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1st, 2012, at home at the age of 57, after a valiant battle with brain cancer.
Brenda's life was built on an unshakeable, unmoveable faith in God. Her personal relationship with Jesus was her source of strength, peace and joy every day of her life.
She loved being outside, whether it was a drive in the mountains or her regular long morning walks. She couldn’t wait for the weather to turn warm in the spring so she could ride her bike all over town and enjoy the fresh air.
Her life was marked by service, both to her family and in her community.
Throughout her life she had a particular dedication to serving the elderly. She quietly and faithfully befriended and cared for these elderly friends and family for years, offering friendship and care during what might otherwise be a lonely season.
She was devoted to her children, family and to the church, consistently seeking to foster the love and glory of God in the lives of those around her. While her sweet spirit and vibrant energy will be missed by her family and friends, we rejoice with her in her new home, looking down on us from heaven.
A celebration of Brenda's life will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 6, 2012, at Craig Christian Church, 960 West Victory Way in Craig, CO.
Interment will follow in the Craig Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, in care of Grant Mortuary.
