James Anthony Terry

James Anthony "Tony" Terry, age 56, of Greybull, Wyo., died Friday morning, Oct. 26, 2012, at the Washakie Medical Center in Worland, Wyo.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 3086 in Basin, Wyo. A memorial graveside service will follow at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at the Knez Cemetery in Craig.

James Anthony "Tony" Terry was born Feb. 27, 1956, in Craig, the son of James Elmer and Mary Lou (Drolc) Terry. He graduated from high school in Casper, Wyo.

Tony moved to the Big Horn Basin area in 1998.

Tony met and married Elaine Jean Herman on July 22, 2000, in Greybull, Wyo.

Tony loved to decorate for the holidays. He enjoyed doing yard work and was always camping.

Tony enjoyed his last trip in September with his wife and the Eagles Aerie No. 3086. Tony was the president of the Eagles Aerie No. 3086 in Basin, Wyo., four times, and for a long time he called "BINGO" at the Eagles every Sunday.

Tony is preceded in death by his brother, Dan Terry.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Terry, of Greybull, Wyo.; his parents, James E. and Mary Lou Terry, of Craig; his son, Josh Maxwell, of Greybull, Wyo.; his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Maxwell-Griffis and Dan Griffis, of Hemet, Calif.; his granddaughter, Kristina Griffis, of Hemet, Calif.; his brother, David Terry, of San Francisco, Calif.; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Marcia and Johnny Steffredo, of Craig, and Marsha and Mike Scullion, of Craig; his sister-in-law, Robynn Terry, of Basin, Wyo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
