Janice E. Davidson

Janice E. Davidson, of Craig, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Sandrock Ridge Care Center after a lengthy illness.

She was born December 16, 1930, to Ralph and Edith (Miller) Reeve at their ranch six miles east of Hamilton. She attended grade school at the Waddle Creek School near her home, and graduated from Moffat County High School in 1949.

On April 14, 1951, she married Kenneth W. Davidson at the Congregational Church in Craig. They built their home at 820 Pershing Street in 1953, and it would be her home for 58 years.

Janice was a homemaker and also helped run the family business, Walco Distributing, for many years. She was happiest when could be busy working, or helping take care of someone. She was a member of Craig Christian Church.

She is survived by daughter Janet (Dennis) Seth, of Clifton; son Dan (Laurie) Davidson, of Craig; granddaughters Ashlyn, Avery and Erica Davidson, of Craig; grandson Kenton Seth, of Grand Junction; brother-in-law Bob Nicodemus, of Craig; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Davidson, her parents, and sisters Emily Ingram, Marlys Myers and Berdena Nicodemus.

Graveside services for friends and family will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday October 12, 2012, at Craig Cemetery.
