Kathleen Ann Jordan was born April 15, 1936, in Rawlins, Wyo., the daughter of George and Marie (King) Jordan.
She was raised in Rawlins and attended school there. Following her graduation from high school, Kathleen attended the University of Wyoming for a year.
Kathleen married Donald Ralph Corson, Sr,. on Jan. 7, 1956, in Rawlins, and to this union three sons were born.
They spent their first year of marriage living in Alaska. Then they lived several places in Wyoming while Donnie continued to work construction.
They ended up in Rawlins and then moved to Baggs in 1966. In 1971, they bought the Ellis ranch and made it and the Little Snake River Valley their home.
Kathleen was a homemaker and mother. She had all her men trained to show up for meals promptly at 6 a.m., noon and 6 p.m. She and Donnie hosted many basketball dinners in their home during the 1970s.
Kathy learned to be an excellent good cook and her family greatly enjoyed it. In fact, when she and Donnie got old enough to eat at the senior center, Donnie always refused to try it because he liked Kathy's cooking so much.
She was a faithful member of Our Lady of The Sage Catholic Church in Baggs. Moreover, she was very instrumental in getting the church built in Baggs.
She died Monday, June 4, 2012, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig.
